Livestock Facilities

The Livestock Facilities are made up of multiple barns for small and large animal events. The facilities host a livestock Judging Arena, a Sales Arena, and Show Barns. Also, available in the barns is an indoor and outdoor wash rack, dairy parlor, and promoter office.

Complete Sound and Lighting Facilities

Barn 6 - Multipurpose Barn

This facility can be used for multiple purposes. This barn can be used for exhibit shows, such as tractor shows, children’s barnyards, or any outdoor event. Barn 6 can be flipped into a show or sales arena. The size of this barn is 80’x140’.

Barn 7

Barn 7 is located on the west side of the Fairgrounds. This barn is used for small animals such as lambs, goats, and pigs. A temporary judging arena is a setup used for judging and practicing livestock. This barn is also where the small animal scales are located. An indoor wash rack is included. This barn will hold 200 plus pens. The size of this barn is 100’x160’.

Barn 8

Barn 8 is located on the west side of the Fairgrounds. This barn is used for small animals such as lambs, goats, and pigs. A temporary judging arena can be set up for judging or practicing. There is an indoor wash rack located in the barn. This barn will hold 300 plus pens. The size of this barn is 100’x160’.

Barn 12

Barn 12 is located on the south side of the Fairgrounds. This barn has direct access to the Midway. The Sales Arena is in this barn. This barn has an indoor wash rack and access to a restroom. There are tie-outs situated on the west side of the Fairgrounds. The barn will hold approximately 320 head of cattle. The size of this barn is 180’x210’.

Sales Arena - Barn 12

The Sales Arena in Barn 12 is perfect for your next sale. This room has access to a sound system and will hold approximately 100 guests.

Barn 13

Barn 13 is located on the south side of the Fairgrounds. This barn has direct access to the Midway. This barn has an indoor wash rack and access to a restroom. There are tie-outs located on the west side of the Fairgrounds. The barn will hold approximately 360 head of cattle. The size of this barn is 180’x210’.

Barn 14 - Judging Arena

Barn 14, also known as the Judging Arena, is located on the south side of the Fairgrounds. This barn has direct access to the Midway. The judging arena can be used for your next livestock show. Also, featured in the judging arena is the Sales Promoter Office. This barn also has direct access to the Midway.

Barn 15

Barn 15 is located on the south side of the Fairgrounds. This barn has direct access to the Midway. This barn has indoor and outdoor wash rack and access to restrooms. This barn is also where you can find the vet clinic. There are tie-outs located on the west side of the Fairgrounds. The barn will hold approximately 330 head of cattle. The size of this barn is 160’x170’. 

Barn 16

Barn 16 is located on the south side of the Fairgrounds. This barn has direct access to the Midway. This barn has an indoor wash rack and access to restrooms. It is also located near Barn 6 and the outdoor wash rack. In this barn, you can find the Dairy Parlor. There are tie-outs situated on the west side of the Fairgrounds. The barn will hold approximately 120 head of cattle. The size of this barn is 90’x160’.

Milk Parlor

The Milk Parlor in Barn 16 is used for dairy cattle. Exhibitors can bring their show animals into the parlor to milk their animals before the show. The parlor also allows for milking competition.

The Mississippi Fairgrounds Complex covers over 105 acres and hosts more than 700 events per year. Coliseum

This modern facility is an all-season arena with large capacity seating. The seating arrangement is one of its most versatile features where a crowd of 6,500 can view a rodeo, monster truck show or ice show. Up to 3,500 temporary seats are available for concerts.

Trade Mart

The Mississippi Trade Mart has a size of 110,000 sf. There is 63,000 sf. of column-free space that can be divided into three trade halls. The three trade halls can be configured to provide a seamless connection to the Coliseum’s 26,000 sf. arena floor, allowing for larger trade shows and events than possible in the current facility. There is also 2,500 sf. commercial kitchen with a service corridor and a lobby that features two cafes as well as a reception area for smaller events.

The Equine Center is completely temperature controlled. The arena dirt floor is 260′ x 120′. There are 2,500 chair back seats and the facility is equipped with sound system and scoreboard. Stalls, pens, and exercise area are adjacent to the Equine Center.
